THIS AFRICAN CHILD

Thin as a rake is my description of you
Your body so skinny looks like it would snap in two
A tragedy to see you looking so underfed
What you would give for a slice of bread

This African child seeks attention and care
To see them starving life just isn't fair
While the rich man has a ten pound steak for his tea
This African child can only dream of such luxury

So when you are eating your meal at night or day
Remember this African child is all I will say

So sad.
But their political african leaders are to blame.
I bet they’re not thin and hungry.
Good write.
