This Day

I have waited for this day
What to do
Show me the way
Give me a clue
Feed me with words
So, I do the right thing
As my heart right now
 Is flying on a wing
Butterflies are dancing
Deep within
Days, time is passing
Life racing
And I don’t know where to begin
Things are happening
Where’s the button for play
What do I say
Tell me please
How can I open the doors
Without the keys
I have been here before
But was brought to my knees
Left in agony
All I want is amity
To save me from insanity
But I need you to feed me
As I’m afraid to do the wrong thing
And so high in the sky
I don’t want to fall
I listen at the door
And wait for a call
May be once again
I will sink to the floor
But I’m hoping this time will be different
I was thrown into a stream
With a raging current
I don’t want to be insignificant
This is my dream
My time for me
To give those I love
A beautiful memory
Forgive my ignorance
Give me a chance
I shall play the tune
For you to dance
I want to be there
To show I care
For you to come to me
Sticking together
Like a proper family
Now and forever
I will be by your side
To wipe away rivers
Of tears you have cried
My words are here
At least I’ve tried
