THIS GUIDING STAR

THIS GUIDING STAR

This guiding star high up in the sky
Always there for me should I need to question why
I look heavenwards and above starting to blink
It's my dad looking down on me is what I like to think

This guiding star dazzles and shines so bright
Always dependable for me both day and night
I have named this star after my father John
It stays around while other stars have long since gone

This guiding star just one more thing before I go
I love your presence more than you will ever know
