This May Be 'It' Chaps

This May Be 'It' Chaps

Look out of the window - what do you see?
my wife has new ammunition - bending the knee,
no, you can't go out, stay and work at home,
she prefers I'm on the leash - no more Rome.

Well, maybe I've got things added to my armoury,
I wish I knew what they were, maybe on leave,
or do they call it furlough now, I believe
that someone's still making a profit, on the thieve.

Goddamn Amazon and Paypal bother me,
if I want them, I'll call, don't give your mystery,
I stayed at home for ten weeks, editing my book,
even that was fucked up but it's worth a second look.

What's the betting that another ten weeks is coming,
Get ready - I hope we all cope with another something.
