This Sense Of Love

A brief feeling of sadness and longing,
Overcome by hope and true belonging.
I choose to read a simple poem,
To soothe my worries keep them at bay,
And banish adverse thoughts of the day.

This sense of joy, this sense of hope,
Is always in my veins.
But most of all, this sense of love,
My body forever retains.
