This struggle inside

Sinking in this sea of emotion
In search of tranquillity in all the commotion
Spinning out of control without a solution. More immersed with each revolution
Life leads you down tracks going nowhere
Allowing clouds to gather in your hour of despair.

The outcome needs careful contemplation
But not easy when you've reached desperation
Overwhelming thoughts of impending gloom
Obstruct your escape from this room
The smile is so false and is only masking
