THIS YEAR

The trimmings are down I'm sorry to say ,
being wrapped in a box to be put away 
the windows and room look now very bare 
but here's to a New Year and for all of us to care .
I wonder what this year will us bring
happiness or sadness to us it will ring.
Our Spring is just around the corner
With lambs that are a leaping
And the Summer months that bring happiness 
and fun for all the children swimming,
Then its Autumn with trees that are shedding their beautiful leaves,
and maybe with us kicking and falling to our knees .
then once more it's that time of year 
to bring out that box of Christmas cheer
,with its lights ,tree and baubles I must admit 
its that time of year I so sorely missed
