I do not wish for silver

Nor do I want your gold

I pray you sing to me a melody from your songs of old..

Please write to me those little words that are hidden within your heart

So they can live inside of me and never ever part..

Those little things that are easier told when they are written down

The sentimental, soppy ones when spoken make a frown

I know this takes a lot of courage to do the things I say

But trust me when I tell you, that if you manage this, then I will never go away…
