Poem -

A Thousand Years

She gave in,

Her frail soul,

Couldn't fight the fire within,

She has no control,

Dispensing sin in her wake,

So vulnerable,

Forced to accept an unbearable fate,

She screams,

She cries,

The evil never to subside,

She's been deceived,

Time will tell,

Refused to believe,

She thought a foolish intel,

Reduced to a slave,

Eyes two sightless caves,

Forced to committ,

A wretched act,

A thousand years of sin,

Her mind barely intact,

She failed to react,

Denied the mark,

A terrible journey,

She is forced to embark,

Her ears can't hear,

Little tunnels of fear,

Her soul a pawn to sell,

Your part of the deal,

Now painfully upheld,

No matter what you see,

No matter what you hear,

Things will not always be,

What is before you that appears.
