Three Days---Three Reunions

What a great weekend we just had, it took our breath away;
Three lovely class reunions, we went to in three days!
Friday was my fifty fifth, I was so excited, Linda was there too;
For I’d been to three since we got married, but she’d stayed at home in all their lieu!

Of course she was the “Mane Attraction”, pun intended to make my point;
Her long hair and her swanky clothing, the most gorgeous gal in the joint!
She met my friends from high school, I saw her woo them all;
They treated her just like a classmate, she was the true “Belle of the Ball”!

On Saturday we went to another, their fifty fifth one just like ours;
Both high schools could go to each others, many came from states afar!
I saw people that I’d lost touch with, since nineteen fifty eight;
I danced with my beautiful Linda, and we both had times so great!

Then on Sunday morning another, the class from my eighth grade;
Again I saw old classmates, and great stories did we trade!
It was an awe inspiring weekend, an epiphany in my life;
And what made it even better, was that I shared it with my wife!

                          Many years oft pass
              Losing touch with dear old friends
                          Then reunions’ joys
