Three Shots Up Or Six Feet Down
The World now faces a raging storm, a Pandemic like its never seen;
Millions lay dead from its relentless wrath, a monstrous murderous fiend!
Our scientists work around the clock, on vaccines to repel the attack;
To give people protection from its deadly siege, no one should them ever lack!

To me it is such a simple choice, nobody should ever dare blunder;
Get these shots to protect yourselves, or risk going six feet under!
Yet multitudes claim a legal right, that their bodies be vaccine free;
Twelve times more likely for a fatal attack, seems rather stupid to me!
.
And even the precaution of wearing a mask, many vehemently eschew;
Playing Russian roulette with all of our lives, what the Hells’ wrong with you!
How many millions will it take to die, before it gets through your thick heads;
To get off your high horse and vaccinate, or it’s likely you will end up dead!

I agree with you Larry! This thing is everywhere. We DO need to keep ourselves safe and others safe. I have had 3 jabs now, I wear a mask keep my distance, hand-wash regularly, etc etc etc  And then my son catches it, and now I have it. Despite social distancing, mask wearing, triple vaccination etc I've got it. BUT and this is a big BUT.... it feels like nothing more than a cold (at the moment) so if the vaccines provide a way to suffer this illness safely that is good enough for me! Interestingly my other half has not got it!
I urge people to get vaccinated and wear a mask.

People don't realize that if they had all three shots, just like you said, even if you come down with Covid, it's no more than like having a cold. We live in the state of Ohio, unfortunately, a nesting ground for a lot of red-necks who refuse to get vaccinated. Yesterday, Ohio reported 16,000 new cases in a 24 hour period, and Omicron is just getting started. I guess it will take thousands to die, before these morons wake up.Â

Well...sorry folks. I'm going to put the cat amongst the pigeons here. I've had no jabs...yet. I've worked frontline through all the surges. Had covid three times. Once officially, twice I was at home alone anyway. If I've no immunity by now, some rushed out vaccine isn't going to do any better for me. I'm more scared of what and the amount of stuff going into people's arms because clinical trials have not gone on long enough to predict any downsides. Also I've seen fully vaccinated people hit the wards in second wave. Also...how can a vaccine that was developed for one mutation work on a mutation that was unknown at the time? I'm only Joe blogs but...beats me. I will of course eventually have the jabs..I'll be forced to. Also if the whole world, especially the UK wasn't being run by muppets...I might be more inclined to trust. I don't trust...not one single one of them.and if covid bites me in the arse...so be it. But I agree with BM Larry...Good awareness write x

As the old saying goes, one must do what one must do. We all have our beliefs on how to protect ourselves from this monstrous pandemic. It is interesting that you say you will eventually "get jabbed", probably soon to be mandatory. At any rate, let's just hope that we all stay healthy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I work for the NHS Larry, at some point I'll be forced to. It has become a ridiculous issue and we all need to get on with life and build up natural immunity( which by the way is being seriously degraded by the wearing of masks and not mixing). Also here in.UK our politicians are a joke and clearly not bothered themselves about covid, senior ministers having being called out again and again for not following rules THEY insist are best for us!! In my sons funeral a year ago we were allowed 20 people and no wake. He was 32. Meanwhile we find out that the muppet prime minister Boris Johnson was partying away at no 10. I don't trust one of the fkrs, I dislike them all and I'm not a sheep. The vaccs clearly do not work as we are still in the same position 2 years on and now they are talking about a fourth vaccination??? Scary!! Anyway, I rant. A merry Xmas to you and yours lovely man ...mine is black as black can be...hugs x
