Three years ago

Three years ago

There once was a girl, with such  passion, such glow, who I once fell in love with nearly three years ago.
Three years ago she wandered into my gaze, jet black gypsy hair, left me breathless amazed.
Her love and her bond were always so strong, to me she never did any wrong.
She never did fail in her quest for my love, cos I'll love her forever like God from above.
I know I never failed in my quest for her too, cos she'll love me the same forever so true.
Even though I haven't seen her for nearly a year, I can still see her face just as crystal and clear.
I can still see her eyes how they used to see me, overjoyed, overwhelmed with a fury of glee.
And I want her to know this is always how I'll be, thinking of her with those eyes full of glee.
Of that girl with the smile with the passion aglow, that I once fell in love with...nearly three years ago x
