THROUGHOUT ETERNITY

I look for you in the dark of night.

I look for you in the pale morning light.

I look for you from dawn to dusk.

I look but deep inside I know you are gone.

I look for you inside the old places.

I look for you in all the familiar faces.

I look for you but you I cannot see.

I look knowing that wherever you are you see me.

I feel your presence everywhere I go.

I feel your love and happiness as it gently flood.

I feel your songs as the fill the air.

I feel your aura as it takes away my fear.

I feel your kindness as it floats by.

I feel your eyes looking at me as I ask ,“Why?”

I feel you guiding my every step.

I feel you approving things I haven´t done yet.

I know that time is a great divider.

I know eventually this pain will get lighter.

I know that we will meet again.

I know there is so much to do until then.

I know you want the best for me.

I know you want me to be all that I can be.

I know from all the little things I do,

I know from the way you said, “I love you”.

So until I can´t no more I look for you wherever I go.

Knowing I´ll never stop loving you so.

Because the feelings that you conjured in me,

Are those that will say I LOVE YOU THROUGHOUT ETERNITY.
