Thunder Needs Lightning

Electricity and water
Never really got along
But together
They are strong

Fire and ice
Don't like each other
But that's how water
Can turn to smoke

You throw me Thunder
I shatter lightning
That's how we
End up fighting
Maybe one day we'll realize
Thunder causes Lightning

Currents can't go anywhere
Without having something
To go threw

They can't vanish into earth
If there's only water

That's how I feel when
I'm with you

You toss me thunder
I snap back lightning
And I wonder
When the storms will end
