Poem -

Thus, a Tear—Pleading Why?

Effulgence, my love: a flickering flame. And so deep—the

Music. I fathom silence—a felt affect; but anchored deep, a

Mystic fuse. Something seared sanity, and birthed glory.

Something so marvelous—melded sorrow. Joy soared—the

Music; and pain—cried mercy. Such spirit, a glinted

Soul—our fable. Effulgence, my swan: a flickering flame.

And so dear—the magic. Inflict not a soul; rather, fuse a

Prayer. For energy—my soul, an eagle’s heart; and energy—

My swan, a faceless arc. Thus, the beauty, a painted dream;

And thus the light, a brilliant stream. Effulgence, my love:

A flickering flame. And so fair—the schism. I drift—to

Ponder death—the sheer bereft. But glory fated love—to

Fuse a storm. Thus, a fount—to flood the skies; and thus, a

Tear—pleading why?
