Tidbits Of Joy

Once in a while, I am happy, I’ll have some rare tidbits of joy;
But all too soon they dissipate, without my precious little boys!
For a while I’ll see the sunlight, and feel its golden rays;
But suddenly, the darkness comes, the dearth of most my days!
.
I look back fifteen years ago, when they laid right by my side;
We shared loves pure enchantment, and tears of joy I cried!
We did everything together, our Souls were ever bound;
This man and his two Angels, the greatest love e’er found!
.
But one by one they parted, their longevity not to be;
At thirteen, my dearest Nico, the very heart of me!
Then two and one half years later, my baby Cody had to go;
Only fourteen years was given, both ages far too low!
.
Now, without them I am sinking, in the depths of dark despair;
I try to jumpstart my body, but little’s left in there!
The adversity has finally beaten me, I’ve crossed the point of no return;
This old man in the sea of sorrow, for them he will ever yearn!
.
.
The pain like acid
Eats right through my heart and Soul
Till there’s nothing left

Hi Larry, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so down. Sometimes all we have left are memories and photos. Three years ago today I lost my mother, its always a difficult day. Stay strong.

My Dear Friend Syd,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother, three years ago. I lost mine in 2003, and still cry for her often.
Those memories and photos are sacred, but they could never replace the real thing.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment.
Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
So beautiful, yet so sad ? I know the feeling I miss my cats so much
sending you sincere love and hugs my friend ❤️?
Our Dear Nardine,
How long have you been without your little Soulmates? Are you planning on bringing others into your life?
With Linda and me being in our seventies, we just don't have the energy anymore, to devote ourselves to another pair of puppies, the way we did with Nico and Cody.
Thank you for your beautiful words.
Sending love,
Linda and Larry xxx
