Gladys!  I really "feel" this write!  I lost myself in a relationship like thisâŚalways trying to be the answer, the solutionâŚuntil there was nothing left of me. He never cared enough to really try, he never cared enough to know me.  This kind of relationship shatters perspectiveâŚyou are right it is a delusion.
