Time

I can't see you but I know you're slowly taking things from me. Each tick and tock a piercing reminder that my life is controlled by an invisible timer,
Just a little longer please I'm happy I want just one more kiss, in this moment I feel pure bliss so why must you end this...
Every second brings one more wrinkle to my parents one more unknown wear and tear on my body, another moment of distress on my heart, closer to having me and my loved ones apart
You're the reason why I hate watches and clocks I try to pretend you aren't there,
But when I hear "I'm sorry i have to go" I know you're floating in the air, 
You'll keep taking things away until I'm naked and bare. 
Your hands will keep moving, ripping away happiness and longevity,
We can't see you but you seem to disappear so quickly...
