Poem -
TIME
I am time
Β And I am not your friend
Though I decide on your beginning
And I will oversee your end
I will accompany you
Throughout your life
Though elusiveΒ I shall be
And when you're rushingΒ
Here and there
It is me you"ll scream for in despair
I will Rob you of your beauty
And cheat you of your youth
As each line appears on your face
You shall know my truth
I will take away your children
Your family
And your friends
Say goodbye
Beloved pets
They all go in the end
And now, my sweet
I'm sure you know
The reason I am here
Come take my hand
And walk with me
And let us dissapear.
