One moment, one second

One minute, one hour

Each a gift of time

Make with it what you will

A memory in it’s prime

Once used

Cannot be given back

That time has been and gone

Whether embraced or wasted

Whatever’s done is done

So whether it’s the here and now

The future or the past

Cherish every moment

As long as each one lasts

Every eon given

A chance to take a shot

One thing that’s certain

in this life

Time is all we’ve got
