You stop without thinking about the consequences,
You hide behind those trenches,
Time passes while you watch from the benches,
To you being benched is senseless,
You think that success is endless,
But you have to start with one, it is more than less,
Life isn’t chess, but there’s a lock that hides your future, and progress,
Don’t stress to impress the guest,
Choose but never guess,
Clean up the mess, work hard to express, and egress,
Forget the consequence and say yes,
Hard work is always bless, and everything less is useless,
There’s a difference between that and having to obsess,
You have your own address, après success,
Be your own press,
To reach your heart you must break that chest,
Become your best without the rest,
Always pass the test, reach the crest,
Begin your own quest,
Prepare to be dressed,
Dig yourself out of being depressed,
It’s all about the time that you invest,
Find your goal and put it under arrest,
Try so hard to win every contest,
See that you have progressed,
Be pleased as you begin to digest,
But everything that you get will be disposed,
The directions aren’t south and west,
It’s always forward, and in work you infest.
