TIME FOR MY FATHER'S STORY

Now is the time to capture my father's story
Tragedies for sure but also some glory
He worked hard for me his only son
His wife always there when his day was done

I wonder what he would make of our world today
With so much violence and this virus in the way
Memories of my father are still in my mind
A stubborn man was he but also very kind

My father had faults but then we all do
He lived to a good age that much is true
I will continue with life and carry his name
Not seeking attention or bothering with fame
