TIME I WAS GOING

TIME I WAS GOING

Ā
Ending my life with a tear and a smileĀ
I'm eighty eight and I've lived a long whileĀ
My time on this earth is now over for meĀ
My hearing is fading and I can hardly seeĀ

I don't regret what I've done with my lifeĀ
Fortunate having two kids and a loving wifeĀ
The world has changed since I was a ladĀ
Not for the better my friend it's constantly madĀ

So with a tear on my cheek and a smile on my faceĀ
It's time I was departing from this whole human race
