Time Thief

Time Thief

If we all agreed
to boycott the tyranny
of Daylight Savings
and NOT set back the clocks
as instructed to do
by those smug fools
who think they own time
and set the rules
with their lame traditions
we would collectively
take the first baby step
toward taking back control
of our overly regimented lives...

I do of course realize
this rant is semi tongue in cheek
as it positively reeks
of being yet another
impractical cancel action
against current positions
we don't happen to agree with
but I am now officially
an hour ahead of you
and carry the future with me

Sorry but Doc Brown from Back to the Future taught me I have to be very careful about doing anything that will alter history ;]

Hello Steve...

I guess they don't realize how silly they sound at this point...

It gets dark earlier so you have to use more power unless you go to bed at 4:00 in the afternoon...

They've been talking about for years to change it...

Arizona understands...

If 60 minutes is such a big deal to them why not compromise and do it 30 minutes earlier in the Spring and leave it alone?

Move it a half hour forward in the fall and leave it alone...

What do I know?

Bingo is illegal here but, you can play the lottery...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...
