Precious Memories
Returning to all you've done sustains in later years,
Finding solace in all the laughter and even tears !
Satisfying to reminisce about all you've been through,
Older age means this is what you really wish to do !
FromΒ flush of youth to what occurred only yesterday,
Memories have the capabilityΒ to carry you farΒ away !
Like pollen taken to distant grounds on the breeze,
Timeless images or significant milestones only please !
Life stored in your physical being to frequently recollect,
Is to share or keep sacredly cherished, to equal effect !
Knowing you've led a full span to be immensely proud of,
In your heart you realize the most valued ingredient, LOVE.
