Tiny Angel

Tiny fingers,
tiny toes..
Little eyes,
and a little nose..

Your tiny fingers never got to grasp,
your tiny toes never got to wiggle..

Little eyes that never got to see,
and your little nose never wrinkled..

15 weeks in the womb,
and your tiny heart stopped beating..

16 weeks in the womb,
and your tiny body was born..

It was way too early,
and way too soon..

Boy? or Girl?
a tiny baby Girl you were..

You never got to cry,
and you never got to scream..

We only met you once,
and then laid you to rest..

To have kissed you once,
to have held you tight,
I'd lay down my own life..

Goodbye my baby sister,
goodbye my mother's Tiny Angel..
