Bright-Eyed Daughter

He stumbles in the door,
falling everywhere.. 
His bright eyed daughter,
so young;
laughs. 
He screams loudly at her, 
not knowing why..
His bright eyed daughter,
now a little older;
sulks.. 
He pushes her violently,
knocking her down hard.
His bright eyed daughter,
now nearly grown;
cries..
He leaves the family,
never speaking to her.
His bright eyed daughter,
now grown;
has broken..
