it is simple
in our constant moving forward
we make our way as we go
we build bridges
we go through ups and downs
we may find ourselves
at a crossroads
where love and duty pull
in different directions
 
to do what is right
what reason dictates or
what you wish
everything is simple
the day is well-earned
truth and lies
are irrelevant, change nothing
they are a battle for other people
for other times
for places far away
to our little universe
where their noises
do not reach
 
what really matters is
that you are well, and I am with you
that you feel peace, also love and
I can be part of your peace and
share your love
