To love another person,

Isn’t what one might expect.

Always dark and messy,

But can’t be altered,

And will stick with them forever.

The present is spontaneous,

Scary and volatile at times,

But constantly changing,

As we grow and learn.

But to walk into someone’s life,

And change their future.
