Poem -

To Go Home Again

To go home again

would bring such relief

the memories i have

are oh so sweet;

The green grass and hills

I am longing to see

The mountains and streams

and even the trees;

I recall as a child

the good times we had

And now and again

I recall the bad;

Running and playing

in the morning dew

I'm sure you recall

as much as I do;

Climbing the trees

and fishing all day

in memories I go back

and wish I could stay;

I miss those days

of so long ago

The sun shining bright

and the fresh fallen snow;

Those days are gone now

But I remember them still

and in my heart and memories

I always will.
