to live only once

we can be born or die
as many times as we want
to be born every time we discover
 love or die
when our heart gets broken
to be born every time we win or
die
when we lose someone or
when we lose everything
to be born to a new day or
give up
when night comes
we close the door
shut the blinds
turn off phone and lights
then we go to bed
to sleep
we let the end of the world happen
for us to die and
discover
the morning after that life
goes on and we must live
we can start once or twice
as many times as we want
but to live only once
life is unique
as unique as the day, today and
every second we live
the rest are yesterday's sorrows and
tomorrow’s worries
