Poem -

To my dearest mom

To my mother on mother’s day

To my dearest mom

To my dearest mom
You’re my favorite human
My favorite person who speaks her mind
Your heart is genuine and incredible kind
You don’t care if you’re a little bit to loud
At least you’re not - at all proud

You open your house to everyone
Even strangers are far beyond- welcome
You clean, and you cook
As the godly woman from the proverbs book

You’re capable and respectful,
virtuous and faithful
The god fearing woman you are today is praised
Me and my youngest siblings where well raised
You’re honorable and modest
And the future ahead -  is bright
You know this - because He has shown you the light
All you see is joy on the other side
Jesus is coming soon - now, get ready the bride
You sew your own cloth and coverings
I’m just saying - that’s how great of a woman my mother is
The clothes you make is high class material
You sews for occasions like weddings, birthdays and funerals

You’re priceless and beautiful
You’re worth more than rubies and the purest of golds
Dad is lucky to have and to hold
Because he sure caught a treasure when he won the lottery
I’m just saying this - on the contrary

You’re my number one fan
And I hope I will grow into becoming as strong as honorable as you - one day
My mom - I love you now and always
And I promise you - that will never change
