To sleep in the water
To sleep buoyant with no anchor
Effortless no more anger
Your spine curved slightly like the hull of a long boat
To sleep in the water

To rock dreamless in no danger

That is the way I want to talk to you
With or without words
The many hued deep blue speaking to you
As shapes our oceans

While the android near dreams android dreams
He dreams of a silky place where
All his joints and seams
Do not need oil

I can see his gold through the water
We need not words but are singing 
Starfish and see urchins

And in this dream all the coral are cured
The whales sound depth and distance
And the notes are not just sound and vibration
But a dance and a vision
Some clownfish join us
Knowing and being and swimming

We don't even need to hold hands
As we rock together
Asleep in the water
