TODAY
I passed by you
Today
I didn't pause or stop
Just walked on by
Away
You walked by me today
Today
Looked right through me
Not at me
Unknown
I thought about us
Today
Illusion or real
It all blew away
Regardless
I took to my bed
Today
The pain in my heart
Too great too sad
Too bad
I can find no meaning
Today
Too broken too hurt
Brokenhearted cliche
Stamped in the dirt
They will find me tomorrow.

Dear Poet Sister MARION!!
Although this is a deeply disturbing and sadly moving write.... it has such an original rhyme scheme that it sets a kind of lighthearted melancholy in its tonality (at least to my ear, smiles)...... But the phrasing is VERY impactful and has a profound sadness being hinted at ~

Thanks Tony, I like to experiment with different ways to express pain and angst...( my preferred subject in case you hadn't noticed) ?....because when I read other people's work sometimes I am moved by expressive imagery and sometimes I'm deeply moved by a few simple lines but regardless of how it turns out I find writing a very cleansing experience...very therapeutic...and cheaper than a psychiatrist?? Stay well my friend ??
