Today I Feel

Today I feel happy
The twinkle in my eyes 
The rose in my cheeks
And the smile that shows my victory

Happy that calm and stability have replaced the thoughts and feelings that plague me
Happy that I have ceased the chaos within me
Happy that I am free from the cage that has been placed around me

Today I feel happy 
I have no worry or anger in me
I know it won't last long because in my story there is always the calm before my storm 
But
Today I feel happy because I have a sense of peace within me
