Poem -

Today's Tomorrow

What this means is though we are not offered tomorrow, tomorrow is the same as today, when tomorrow is here it's not called tomorrow it's called today. And while we hope for tomorrow it's already here. If that makes sense.

"Constant sorrow," be thought the morrow,
"For today has come and Gone.Β
In both radiance or in shadeΒ
Still today has made it's way
But I am never promisedΒ
And I do not belong!"
Over the morrow
A cloud fell upon his shadow
And over his heart a veilΒ
At Great lengthsΒ
Had he lost his strength
For in lifeΒ
Had he not a place to dwell.
"Try as I may,
Though I cannot explainΒ
Why today is promisedΒ
Though I am left on display.
They promise Good healthΒ
And a good way of lifeΒ
But I am todayΒ
though I wear a disguise."
