Poem -

Tomb of Self

Buried as I am inside this concrete tomb
While my son resides within his mother's womb
In selfishness I had to have a taste
Now daily how I yearn for my freedom with haste
Am I then destined to a life revolving in pain?
Or is there yet some spiritual strength for me to gain?
Oh, how my soul desires to obtain a sense of peace within
Yet first I must strive to rid myself of this live of sin
Alas, I've found the answer, no longer must I hide
Ironically enough I've found myself while within the tomb I currently reside
I found my peace high upon a shelf
Deep within this "Tomb of Self"
