Tomorrow

Tomorrow

They say that it never comes but it surely does,
tomorrow we travel north, perhaps where Chiang Mai was,
perhaps anywhere will do to prove tomorrow exists,
we are before, our period in time, we are the ancients.

Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today,
however, there is a selection process so they say,
that dreadful word - 'prioritise,' springs to mind,
whichever one you choose - may still be left behind.

You should have done that ages ago but you didn't,
all those things you missed but determined you wouldn't;
time has gone, it's too late, not as sharp as you were,
but whatever came our way, most are all still here.

The doubters aren't so keen on all this analysis test,
but it wasn't so bad because most turns out for the best.
