Tonight

Tonight  I will forget her

With all the love and joy she brings

No memories of moments and spring

No thoughts of gentle misty rains

Where we sheltered from it all

No visions of her soft kiss

To help me through the night

I pray that my mind will hurry

The forgetting must now start

For if I think of her once more

It will surely break my heart
