Poem -

TOO LATE TO REPAIR ?

It's ten past ten I'm knocking on your door
What am I doing I'm not really sureĀ
Go you said and don't ever returnĀ
People like me though will never learnĀ

The look on your face was utter shock and surpriseĀ
Me standing on your doorstep you couldn't believe your eyes
Out of decency you invite me insideĀ
I was so very happy at this I almost criedĀ

So many things we need to sort out and repairĀ
After all it was you who had the affair
