TOO MANY TIMES

Too many times hopes and dreams shattered
Too many times losing people who mattered
Too many times my heart was broken
Too many times kind words unspoken
Too many times I searched for the truth
Too many times from the years of my youth
Too many times and too many tears
Where did they go too all those years
But then I found you Lord my heart was mended
My hopes and dreams realised my loneliness ended
Kind words were spoken for you Jesus are truth
I found your love that was needed in my youth
My tears were wiped my heart filled with joy
For you are the giver of life to enjoy
You give us family you give us hope
You give us strength so with storms we can cope
So many times you have held me close
So many times when I needed it most
So many times have you provided
So many times you have taught and guided
So many times I have seen your grace
My Father My God what a beautiful face.
