TOO MUCH SHERRY

TOO MUCH SHERRY

This little poem is of Terry Derry
At Christmas time he had a glass of sherry
One glass of course led to another
Soon he was doing impressions of his dearest mother

Poor Terry the sherry went to his head
I bet he wished he stayed in bed
His speech was now becoming very slurry
His vision was all over the place and very blurry

I'm not sure how Terry made it back to his flat
Too much sherry was the reason for that
