TOP OF THE CLASS

I'm not one to brag or even boast 
However this poem I just have to post
My teacher marked my work ten out of ten
I am eight years old and my name is Ben

Teacher says she is very pleased with me
Mummy and Daddy are too and also agree
I like to do well at my school every day 
This will help when I have bills to pay 

I am top of my class in maths and spelling 
Drawing in art class I find really compelling 
I'm not sure what job I will eventually do 
So many choices and avenues to persue
