Tormented Sky

Birds fly high;
wings spread wide.
Soaring through an endless sea.
Masters of the heavens;
sharing mankind's secrets with the clouds.

Many words spoken unpleasant.
Enraging the pillows of angels;

 their cries for man are loud.

Stricken with grief,
the wandering whisperers speak.
No longer gentle sweet lullabies,
soothing souls that cry.

Loud, growling into the belly of the tormented sky.
Turquoise pools turns grey.
Fireworks implode;
peace is chased away!

Darkness settles across the once ocean of blue.
Raging storm begins to brew.

Fear stricken eyes, open wide;
Look up to stare....
Just in time,
to see God's glare!
