Tragedy

Tragedy

Like erasing chalk from a board mankind has
raked and stripped away what was once a priceless treasure below the oceans surface a world of undiscovered beauty - an underwater Eden full of endless life and wonder, leaving a lifeless dessert of mud blanketing the ocean floor with shame.
What about the planets and stars?
Will 30 pieces of silver buy an empty black abyss, how far reaching is the hand of mans destruction for greed.
when the last fish has been caught
When the last tree has been cut
When the last stream has been poisoned
When the last wild animal has vanished
Will it only then be understood
That mankind is out on a limb
And he's sawing the wrong end.
