Poem -

trailing midnights...

what version now stands in that
body of me, I see her in mirrors,
know not who she be...

floating at midnight down
hallways of dark, hair mussed like
cobwebs with spidery eyes,

blending with shadows, too
shrunken in size, and whichever
she be I have come to despise...

I despise every one that within
her resides, I despise every
version within her that hides,

floating the halls trailing
midnights and dark,Β startling my
mirror with images stark...

and whoever she be I have come
to despise, despise every version
of me that she hides.
