Traveler

There’s a voice within: we call it conscience; and heart to
Wind: we call it faith; and so the mind, a pier of thoughts:
A promenade: a thousand walks; and lady pearl, a mystic
Queen: a tender pulse: the ghost of dreams; and phantom
Geese, the sky of wings: a thirst to fly: a port of dreams;
And darkest light, the flight of soul: a saintly mare: a
Flaming cold; and Aaron spoke, the words of God: a
Desert web: an ebb macabre; and Mt. Sinai, a face to glow:
A need to feel: a need to know; and Fountain Rock, a
Silent test: a time to praise—the God of Seth; and Judah’s
Strength, the first to war: the last to die: a flaming core;
And known to prowl, a subtle asp: the face of prayer—a
Cryptic mask; and Temple gold, a torn affair: the father
Wailed—in deep despair.
