If we'd appreciate the trees
we will see the truth,
we could let the lies fall to the ground
Leaving fresh leaves on branches,
then the light can reach the roots.

• Shedding the lies around us like dead leaves and not only starting afresh through budding innocence (new leaves), but also allowing the nurturing roots of that innocence to be "open" to the clear light of day - representing the future growth of truth.
