Trials

sweet as Antipodes halfway up my knees
I'd passed the elbow of the Eiger.. North Side
like a tiger.. onto Everest..
a moment on the crest
intoxicated belated Torus
and the Carpathians before us,
breaching kilamanjaro,
and then the summit the final
scenario, I didn't see the wood for
the tree till Mohamed came,
and pointed here is your Armagedon..
and I've the fear of God in me
