Tribute to a master

Tribute to a master

Rhyming is easy
and lots of fun
stick around for a minute
I'll show you
how it's done

The rhyme it is simple
check it and see
put the right words together
just like me

The story's the hard part
try for yourself
if the plot doesn't thicken
it's bound for the shelf

Seuss was the master ...of his time
he brought new meaning to the lyrical rhyme
when the Doctor wrote...and ran out of words
he would make them up
I'm sure you have heard

I'm taken back as a matter of fact
remembering this great man
wrote the cat in the hat

He will live on forever...in young and old alike
we will never forget him..
.like riding a bike

You have to respect...such a great master
green eggs and ham was all but disaster

I dedicate this rhyme...at this time
to the master of who's
and his funny word rhymes...

Why bother with names...when you can be a thing
a series of numbers ...things that sing
why be a fish...when you can be known by a color
there again...with plenty of numbers
Don't forget about Christmas
a green man and his pet
and a soul so vile
we couldn't forget...
